Trip to Beijing
I spent a couple of excellent days in Beijing thank to this agency and my private guide Ivy! An adorable journey, I swear! Your private driver and guide will be ready for you when you arrive in Beijing. Enjoy a trouble-free transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is your own to explore Beijing.
Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and drive to historical Tian'anmen Square. After going through the middle gate of the Tian'anmen Rostrum, start to enjoy the highlight of the day — the Forbidden City.
Besides admiring the splendid palaces on the central axis, your guide will take you off the touristy route to explore interesting places related to famous figures of the Ming/Qing dynastic era. The stories about them will make the Forbidden City come alive for you.
After lunch, ride to the old hutong area with your guide and walk through 300-year-old hutongs. A visit to a local family, whose ancestors have lived in the hutongs for generations, offers a local perspective on history.
Enjoy the old Beijing of a foodie by tasting authentic Beijing roast duck in a time-honored restaurant.
In the morning, your guide and driver will take you to the Temple of Heaven — the place where emperors used to pray for good harvests. Temple of Heaven Park is full of life. Immerse yourself in the lives of locals by joining in Beijingers' morning activities.
In the afternoon, you'll hike the Great Wall at Mutianyu. This section is ranked top among all parts of the Great Wall on TripAdvisor due to its picturesque scenery and beautifully restored architecture.
In order to save time for the highlights, we will arrange round-trip cable car rides to ascend and descend the Wall. Walk on "the most beautiful and interesting part of the Great Wall", which is between the 14th and 23rd watchtowers.
Our private guide and driver will accompany you between your hotel and the event venue. Please tell us your favorite event so that we can acquire tickets for you as soon as they are on sale.
Your guide and driver will be there to help with your luggage and transfer you to the airport/railway station of your choice for your departure.
